Green Card and Visa Issues: The Diocese of Burlington has been informed by its immigration attorney that due to recent changes made by the US Department of State concerning visa and green card quota limits, your parish priest Father Thomas Aquinas will be required to leave Vermont and return to the Heralds of Good News in India for one year before being able to petition for re-entry to the USA. The Diocese believed it had applied for his green cards in a very timely fashion, but these recent changes make it necessary for him to return to India. Father Thomas’ last weekend will be June 10-11, 2023. The Diocese is very grateful for his five years of service in Vermont and hopes to welcome him back in by the end of 2024. A new parish priest will be announced in the coming weeks.
